HausCut helps people and companies turn ideas into modular timber buildings through planning, technical documentation and assisted construction.
We reduce the complexity of the process and organize the steps needed to turn a project into a real construction.
Problem
Between the land, the design, suppliers, budget and construction, a lot can be lost. HausCut exists to organize this path before mistakes reach the site.
You want to build, but you don't know where to start, which system to use, or who should take part in the first decisions.
Costs appear at the wrong time, decisions change during construction, and financial planning stops being reliable.
Design, CNC fabrication, suppliers and assembly need to work together. When they don't, delays, rework and waste appear.

Solution
Building a modular house involves technical decisions, documentation, fabrication, suppliers and execution.
HausCut organizes these stages into a structured process, connecting knowledge, planning and fabrication to turn an idea into a building ready to happen.
We turn needs, ideas and goals into organized, executable construction solutions.
Drawings, specifications, components and information organized for fabrication and deployment.
Integration between design, CNC fabrication and preparation of the components needed for construction.
A structured method to turn a reference into a building ready for fabrication and deployment.
Possibilities
From a compact cabin to an expanded home, different projects can be made viable through the same approach of planning, digital fabrication and the HausCut Method.

Scale
Compact projects for hospitality, leisure, tourism, independent studios and refuges connected to nature.

Every project follows a structured journey to turn a construction intent into an executable solution.
We understand goals, site, budget and needs to define the best direction for the project.
We organize the information, definitions and documents required for fabrication and deployment.
We define materials, CNC processes, digital fabrication and preparation for deployment.
We organize the steps, participants and information needed for fabrication, assembly and deployment.
Technology
WIKIHOUSE SKYLARK
HausCut works with projects developed from the WikiHouse Skylark system.
WikiHouse is an open source construction system designed for digital fabrication and organized assembly, allowing structural components to be produced on CNC machines and assembled on site.
HausCut adapts this technology to local materials, suppliers, processes and construction conditions, turning the system into a viable solution for cabins, tiny houses, country homes and other modular timber buildings.
More than using the technology, our role is to make it applicable to the real context where it's deployed.
WikiHouse is an open system designed for digital fabrication and organized assembly.
Structural components produced with precision on CNC machines.
Parts designed for structured on-site assembly.
Materials, suppliers, processes and construction conditions adjusted to local realities.
Viable solutions for different scales of modular timber construction.
Our job is to make the technology applicable to real conditions on the ground.

HausCut Engine
HausCut Engine is the digital system developed by HausCut to organize components, documentation, quantities and processes related to digital fabrication and deployment of modular construction systems.
It connects technical knowledge, planning and fabrication in a single structure that supports the entire HausCut Journey.
Structures parameters, dimensions and construction characteristics of each configuration.
Organizes structural elements, technical files and information needed for fabrication and deployment.
Supports the preparation of information for CNC processes and assisted production.
Consolidates information for planning, budgeting and project tracking.
About
HausCut was born from studying and adapting the WikiHouse Skylark system to local context.
Along the way we realized that the biggest challenge isn't only the construction technology, but the distance between a good idea and a building that actually gets built.
That's why we chose to specialize deeply in a single construction system, helping people and companies move forward with more clarity, predictability and organization.
The Problem
Many projects stall between the intent to build and real execution, because of missing design, documentation or coordination.
The Solution
Structured designs, technical documentation, digital fabrication and deployment methods that turn ideas into executable buildings.
Our Role
Help people and companies develop construction solutions and move forward with clarity, organization and predictability.
